Are you on the Nextdoor App? The app itself is a resource used to connect neighbors and businesses in a local community. It's completely free to join and may be useful if you'd like to connect with your community or have just moved to a new location and are trying to learn your way around.
For the holidays they have released their treat map. (They've teamed up with Party City to integrate some new features.) Essentially you can see which homes will have decorations, treats, etc... In Burbank, Glendale, Woodland Hills and a couple other areas in SFV, we have a bunch of moms who have already created google maps with similar information. (Go to our events calendar for 10/30, 10/31 to see great maps for Decorations, Candy distribution, and more) This is otherwise a great option for communities that may not have very active facebook groups.
