20 Goals for 2020 ~Goals the whole family will have fun doing!~

By Rose Peterkin January 9, 2020

It's 2020!. Have we set goals? Have we already procrastinated on some of them? Orrrr... are we just happy the kids are back in school?! A little of all the above for me! I did write a bunch of stuff down before January 1st. (It's January 8th and the Christmas Tree hasn't been taken down though if we're being honest.) I'm not sweating the small stuff but I am looking to be intentional about things I have put off for far too long. One of my favorite things I've seen online is 20 in 2020. The premise is writing down 20 goals to achieve this year. Pretty simple right? I'm very visual and have a long enough to do list when I saw someone create something like a vision board for those goals and I was totally inspired to make my own! I love the idea of seeing how close I am to reaching my goals, having my family participate and keep each other accountable. And you know what? If I don't hit all 20, I'm okay with that too. It makes me happy to have something to aspire to, something to get excited about and a place to remind me what's important. Whatever doesn't get done is a score to beat for next year! You don't have to do what I did. You can select a couple things to do 20 times or select 20 things to accomplish total. It's really up to you. This is great to do with the kids as well and honestly I feel like you could start this at any point in the year. I hope this inspires you as I was inspired to look at my goals like less of a chore and more of an adventure. Here's to doing exactly what you want in the New Year!
