MORE ABOUT RED CHAIR PRODUCTIONS: Red Chair Productions, a Burbank-based non-profit organization, has been producing an annual Nutcracker since 200X. This unique performing arts experience, featuring professional costumes, sets, and more than 100 dancers ages 5 – 18 in supporting and lead roles, is attended - through grants and donations - by more than 1000 school age children from all over the city of Los Angeles, who are often experiencing the theater arts for the first time. Additionally, special events are hosted in connection with the show specifically for young girls who watch the show, and then meet with the cast and all-female producing team to discuss leadership skills and the hard work that goes into a production of this caliber.
