Don't be deceived by this hot and humid weather, it is officially Fall. Translation for this Mama: Pumpkin Spice Lattes!  If I thought my bottom wouldn't start looking like 2 round pumpkins, I'd have one everyday! Fall also means festival galore. 
 
Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Patch

It is the largest pumpkin patch in California with local grown pumpkins. All pumpkins cost $5 regardless of their size! From October 11th - 30th the Pumpkin Patch will be open for pumpkin sales only.

A truly stunning showcase of thousands of hand carved illuminated pumpkins creatively placed along a scenic path with Halloween music score to accompany guests on the unique experience. KIDSPACE Halloween Hunt
Saturday, October 29, 2016
10:00am - 7:00pm

Children are encourage to dress in costumes and trick-or-treat for healthy snacks and toys.  Explore the mysterious world of mythological creatures by making unicorn horns and beastly puppets, and transforming yourself into trolls,

SPOOKY CREATURES IN THE GARDEN @ the LA ARBORETUM

Halloween activities are for children ages 10 and under including pumpkin decorating, creepy science projects, fall book readings and walks, and other autumn crafts. Dressing in costume is encouraged!

ENCHANTED FOREST OF LIGHTS @ Decanso Gardens

Enchanted: Forest of Light is an interactive, nighttime experience unlike anything else in Los Angeles, featuring a one-mile walk through 10 distinct lighting displays in some of the most beloved areas of Descanso Gardens. SAN GABRIEL’S FALL FESTIVAL AND HAUNTED ZONE
October 28th 5-9 PM
Two "funtastic" events for all ages. Starting at 5pm, bring the family for a ‘spooktacular’ good time  in the Mission District where there will be trick-or-treating, games, food, kids activities, and more. Starting at 6:30pm visit the Grapevine Arbor (324 South Mission Drive) for a Haunted Zone (recommended for ages 8 & up). A Faery Hunt, the Nickelodeon winner for “Best Children’s Theater in Los Angeles” reates Fairyland by weaving their faery magic with original stories, dancing and songs that will inspire the best in all of us. Storytelling, dancing, games, fairy unicorn readings, fairy face painting, one-on-one time with the fairies, food, frolic and fun.  Most children come in costume.
